Click each category below for a fuller breakdown of the procedures involved.

General Surgery

Laparoscopic & open general surgery for hernias — inguinal, femoral, umbilical, abdominal, incisional and parastomal — plus abdominal reconstructions for complex hernias, undertaken jointly with a plastic surgeon where needed. Also covers gallbladder surgery (cholecystectomy) and surgical removal of skin lesions, ingrowing toenails, and similar minor procedures.

Colorectal Surgery

Cancer surgery — laparoscopic and open colon and rectal surgery — alongside treatment for inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, and other benign pathology of the colon and rectum.

Coloproctology & Rectal Bleeding

Haemorrhoids — treated by injection, banding, open removal, THD, or the Rafaelo procedure — alongside anal fissures, complex fistulas, pilonidal disease, Crohn’s‑related conditions, and investigation of rectal bleeding and changes in bowel habit.

Endoscopy

Camera tests of the bowel, used both to investigate symptoms and as part of ongoing monitoring or screening where clinically indicated.
